Notes :
This unique specimen was apparently prepared at around the same time as the 1923 T.S. Harrison issues of the
ten shillings, pound, and five pound notes by printers Perkins Bacon & Co. By the time a circulation issue
was released in 1925, the design had changed and the title of the Head of the Commonwealth Bank had been changed
from Chairman of Directors, Note Issue Department to Governor.
Although listed in print catalogues with a general release classification, this was a specimen note.
Valuation : r53 – Mc77a # Unsigned Specimen Ten Pound Banknotes
These notes only appear very rarely, so any valuations are largely hypothetical.
